Menu of Services
Full Staging
This Full Staging service begins with a pre-staging consultation where we look at the entire home and set our palette. We determine necessary updates such as indoor/outdoor maintenance, paint, countertops, appliances, flooring, lighting, and cabinet hardware.
Once the canvas is set, we bring in furniture (bedding, art, lamps, rugs, accessories, etc.) and put together the final touches for showing.
Best for empty or unoccupied homes. Homes can be purchased furnished if desired.
Partial Staging
Also known as “just the fluff,” Partial Staging begins with a pre-staging consultation where we look at all aspects of the home and recommend updates.
We rework the client’s larger pieces to make perfect use of the space. Then, we bring in rugs, lamps, art, bedding, pillows, and other accents to tie the home together and stage it to perfection.
Best for occupied homes or homes that may already have the main essentials for staging.
Vacation Rental Staging
Vacation Rental Staging brings your space from empty to a fully functional rental.
It includes furniture, bedding, linens, a fully functioning kitchen, outdoor styling, and more. Staging will be based on a preset budget between the client and Somewhere South Staging.
Best for vacation homes that need to appeal to renters.
Love the Locals Special
Staying in your current home but looking to spruce it up or get styling advice? Our Love the Locals Special is a 1-2 hour re-design consult.
With this service, we help with furniture placement, colors, styling choices, and more. It’s perfect for those looking for an extra touch to make their space feel complete.

Key West Story
Michelle resides on Little Torch Key with her husband and partner, Wil, and their beloved pup, Bristol Rose. Both of her daughters, Samantha and Averie, live in Key West and work in the service industry. Samantha, also a licensed Realtor, frequently accompanies Michelle on staging projects, making it a true family-driven business.
Over the past 4½ years, Michelle and her team have successfully staged more than 250 properties throughout the Florida Keys, showcasing their expertise in preparing homes for sale and elevating vacation rental spaces.
In 2023, Michelle was honored to receive the Affiliate of the Year Award from the Key West Association of Realtors—a recognition she values deeply. This award reflects her dedication, professionalism, and strong relationships within the local real estate community.
In 1991, Michelle’s world changed when she visited Key West for the first time. She immediately fell in love with the lifestyle, people, and culture. “Island life” has since influenced her style and had a huge part in Coastal Cottage (her home store). Having visited more than 30 times, Michelle finally took the plunge and made a permanent move in 2020!
With many friends and relations in the area, she has a special place in her heart for history, culture and lifestyle that make up the islands. To her, these things are key.
Michelle’s casual and relaxed style shows up in her work. She’s influenced by Key West’s history, architecture, colors, and sounds, and this is made evident in both her personal and professional style. It’s an honor to be a Key West Local!
Michelle is also a successful REALTOR and has been selling real estate for 24 years.
